What are the common specifications and models of counterweight blocks?

The counterweight block is a heavy object used to increase its own weight to maintain balance. It is a process in which pig iron is melted into a liquid that meets the requirements, poured into a mold, cooled and solidified, and then cleaned and processed to obtain a cast piece with the predetermined shape, size and performance. The counterweight block is one of the basic processes in modern mechanical manufacturing industry. 

The counterweight blocks we mainly produce refer to those used in heavy industry. In the light industry sector, counterweight blocks are also required and are typically formed through machining materials on a machine tool. 

The classification of light industry counterweight blocks is not clearly defined. Generally, they can be divided into two major categories. One is formed through sheet processing; the other is formed through profile processing. The materials mainly include various sheets, sheets, round iron, flat iron, square iron, other profiles, etc. 

Heavy industry counterweights are generally classified according to their shaping methods. Conventionally, they are divided into ordinary sand-type counterweights and extremely heavy iron ones. Ordinary sand-type counterweights include three types: wet sand type, dry sand type, and chemically hardened sand type. Special counterweights are further classified into two major categories based on the different shaping materials: one uses mineral sand and stone as the main shaping material, such as lost-wax counterweights, shell-type counterweights, negative pressure counterweights, clay-type counterweights, solid-type counterweights, ceramic-type counterweights, etc.; the other uses metal as the main casting material, such as metal-type counterweights, centrifugal counterweights, continuous counterweights, pressure counterweights, and low-pressure counterweights. The process of heavy industry counterweight manufacturing can be divided into three basic parts: counterweight metal preparation, casting mold preparation, and casting piece processing. 

Counterweight iron is not only applied in large mechanical equipment but is also widely used in various industries. For example, it is used in construction machinery, such as excavator counterweight iron, forklift counterweight iron, loader counterweight iron, crane counterweight iron; for general cargo trucks, when the cargo is too heavy, counterweight iron is placed at the front or rear of the vehicle to increase the friction of the tires and thereby enhance the traction; in our daily use of fixed-line telephone receivers, counterweight iron is also commonly used to increase the weight and feel of the receiver, etc.
